Brandes' point of view
Brandes believes that it’s critical to understand what a business is fundamentally worth before making any judgments on whether it may be a good investment at the current price. A focus on outlook and trends may be interesting, but our view is that without the foundation of a value estimate, any purchase remains a speculation, not an investment.
